The Center of Research on FinTech, Blockchain and Smart Logistics and the research committee of the School of Business Administration (SBA) of the American University in Dubai (AUD) would like to invite you to attend the first annual Academic-Industry conference related to FinTech- a multifaceted innovation.

The Dubai FinTech Academic-Industry Conference is an event where scholars and professionals in the fields of strategy, entrepreneurship, computer science, innovation, organization theory, finance, and economics will discuss their work on the rise, diffusion, and disruptive potential of financial technologies (FinTech).

Financial technologies such as digital currencies, blockchain, marketplace/P2P lending, crowdfunding, robo-advisors, smart contracts, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things are rapidly reshaping the economy by promoting decentralization, disintermediation, and digitization. These emerging technologies are disrupting the financial sector as well as other industries (e.g., logistics, education, legal industry, international trade), and are described by some as the new fourth industrial revolution. It is time for professionals and scholars to have an open dialogue about the impact of these technologies on management practice and academic research. The conference bring together researchers and experts in different fields to co-create knowledge related to FinTech innovations.
